Lite + Brite’s Guide to Austin Holiday Markets 2024

In the weekly newsletter, we generally steer away from listing artisanal markets because a) there are so many of them and b) there are only so many ways to describe them. But if ever there’s a season for giving makers’ markets the attention they crave, it’s right now. Almost none of these will show up in the weekly newsletters, so we advise you to cherish this list all month long. If we learn of more markets as December goes on, we will add them here, so you may want to check back for updates.

Please note: There are SO MANY holiday craft markets! This is by no means all of them. We highlighted in pink the ones that seem most interesting to us based on their descriptions, but we encourage you to get out there and explore for yourself (and if you find that we’re sleeping on any that are especially good, please tell us). Also, some of these markets are outdoors, so if the weather is rainy, double-check to make sure they’re going on as planned.

If you’re coming to this list and you don’t know compiled this list / who Lite+Brite are: that’s us! We also do a weekly newsletter of offbeat, weird, + artsy events you can find in Austin. If you’re looking for a way to subscribe to that, head this way.
